In this page, we will be discussing the different ways of knowing, how do we gain knowledge, and from where.

How do you acquire knowledge + understanding?
What are the sources of this knowledge?

Humans gain knowledge in a variety of different ways, without even realizing it sometimes. We know that we know something, but when we ask ourselves how do we know this thing, we come to a no answer. Often times, we say that we know something because that is common sense, or that is logical, but lets go deeper than that; how did we obtain that knowledge that made it common sense? There are a lot of different sources of knowing, which include: Senses, Experience, memory, historical records, environmental influences, authority, observation, assumption, media advertising, educational understanding, trust, beliefs, and Familiarity.

Besides all these sources, I believe Environmental Influences is one the most critical ones that play a huge role in an individual’s knowledge. Environmental influences determine a person’s culture, language, and religion.
